The Gherdëina Valley Val Gardena or Gröden in German is a valley situated in Trentino AltoAdige, Sudtirol, in the Dolomites Mountains and is crossed by Gardena, a 25 km long river. The valley is a very famous place for ski and winter sports tourism activities, as well as for hosting many International Alpine Skiing events FIS Alpine World Ski Championships.
